Our 100th Day...Finally

We finally celebrated our 100th day of school.  (Of course, it came on the shortest day of the week!) In our madness to get everything done, I didn't get many photos.  We began the day by viewing a simple Power Point to help them think about what a 100 year old person is like. Then, we made ourselves as 100 year old people.  This idea was inspired by Mrs. Bates.  They turned out so cute but I forgot to take pictures. :(

Here are some photos of the other activities the kids participated in:

Putting together a 100 piece puzzle with a friend.  Target Dollar Spot finds.
Writing numbers to 100 and a 100 words.
Enjoying a 100 calorie snack!

Here's a sneak peek of what we have planned for tomorrow.

Happy Teaching and Learning!

  2. I'm going to have to steal the 100 calorie snack idea! LOVE it! I am giving them 100 with a long fudge stick cookie and then two circular cookies when they first come in. Maybe the 100 calorie snack can be later in the day or I can scrap the cookie idea. Hmm so many choices.
    Thanks for sharing!
